Laura Gillis

Bio Laura obtained her degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine (Chinese herbology) from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, TX and is a licensed acupuncturist by the state of Wisconsin and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

In addition to acupuncture, Laura has studied various forms of energetic healing over the past 20 years, including tuina, medical qigong, qigong, meditation, yoga, reiki, hands-on-healing, reflexology and taiji. While she believes in the benefits of all forms of medicine and in a collaborative approach to health care, she chooses to partner with people on their path to health through the use of these modalities. She believes strongly in the body’s innate ability to heal itself and in the power of a holistic mind, body, spirit approach to healthcare.

Laura has partnered with clients to address a wide variety of health concerns including, but not limited to; back pain, frozen shoulder, hip pain, arthritis, diabetes, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, joint pain, menopause, menstrual issues, post-menopausal issues, grief, depression, infertility, impotence, stroke rehabilitation, digestive issues, addiction recovery, migraines, TMJ and PTSD. Although Laura has worked with all age ranges, she prefers to focus on patients 8 years old and up.

Besides being an acupuncturist, Laura is a certified practitioner of Asian Bodywork by the AOBTA, a 200 hr Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher, a Reiki master and a teacher of Sheng Zhen qigong.
